About Me
As a registered psychotherapist, I am dedicated to making you feel safe by being warm, human and not judging you (flaws and quirks are part of being human). I will come alongside you, using questions and creative tools, to understand your unique story and needs in order to find new perspectives and solutions. I work with you, not on you, to build understanding and create change. I offer face to face sessions in Liverpool or online from anywhere.
Seeking Support
Seeking support is courageous and can feel overwhelming. I try to make it as comfortable as possible. Here are the steps to take and what to expect:
1.
Initial free call - ask questions, see if you trust me, explore logistics and I can signpost you on if we aren't a fit
2.
Book a first paid session - deeper assessment and goal setting, make a flexible plan for number of sessions.
3.
Work together weekly or fortnightly, consistently check in on whether therapy remains useful, end at any point.
Couples Therapy
In couples therapy we can improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen your relationship. We find ways to accept difference but respect our individual needs.
Therapy with Families
If one person is struggling with their mental health or wellbeing, this can affect the whole family - and the family may have a role in the struggle. We can include multiple family members in therapy to build better understanding, improve communication and deepen relationships.
